Worldwide
d a strategic alliance with The Financial Relations
Board/ BSMG Worldwide, the world's largest investor
relations firm. According to Sanjay Jha, Managing Director,
Capital Images PR, "Investor Relations, is still in
its nascent stages in India. This new initiative will
help us bring home the best international practices, which
we believe will significantly benefit companies trading
on the Indian Stock Exchanges and those listed or listing
abroad in New York, London and other financial centres."
Commenting on the association, Theodore H. Pincus, Chairman,
Financial Relations Board said, "With the significantly
rising interest among Indian listed companies in pursuing
a dual listing in the North American marketplace on the
New York Stock Exchange or Nasdaq, we believe
that it is extremely timely for a joint working relationship
to be established between a strong Indian financial communications
resource and a leading specialist in the U.S." "This will
be a distinct profit centre, and will spin-off into a
separate corporate entity," said Jha.
FRB handles more than 500 major and emerging US corporations,
including 3% of all companies listed on the NYSE and about
5% of all listed on Nasdaq. It represents over 300 U.S.
and overseas companies with offices in New York and coast-to-coast
in the U.S., Hong Kong, Singapore, Frankfurt and London.
It is a part of BSMG Worldwide, a public relations arm
of the Interpublic Group, the world's largest advertising
and communications holding company. Established 40 years
ago, the Financial Relations Board is the oldest
and the largest investor communications specialist.
