Clover Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is a 100%
Export Oriented Unit (EOU), focused on providing
software consultation and solutions to their customers
worldwide. It was set up in 1995 with an aim to
provide Enterprise Level Unix and Oracle Training
to corporate and software professionals. They
are recognized as Oracle Business Alliance
Partner and their strategic alliance with
hardware giants like Hewlett Packard, Sun Microsystems
and Compaq have given them ability
to offer the multi-vendor, multi-platform Oracle
expertise to the customer.
Today, Clover is restructuring itself to offer
services in the new technology areas like the
Internet and E-Commerce application development,
Linux Support and Oracle Database Development
and implementation. As a part of this reorganization,
new line of business has been created in the above
areas in order to generate focused business development
and delivery capabilities.
Recently, Clover has entered into a joint venture
agreement with Red Hat Inc (the creators
of Red Hat Linux Inc., which is a most
popular and widely used proprietary and industry
strength version of the Linux operating system).
Under the joint venture Clover will provide exclusive
distribution and support for Red Hat Linux in
India.
Their strategic alliance with Oracle and Red
hat will help the customers to implement durable,
cost effective solutions of the future. Large
customers like Tata Finance, Jet Airways, Indya.com,
FX Online and Softec Inc. are realising
the benefits of the long-term association.
Clover has its development facilities in Pune
and Mumbai, which are networked with
the marketing offices in New Jersey, USA
and the client's sites worldwide, through high
bandwidth Internet connections. The company's
software professionals team plans to grow to 150
in the first year and 250 in the second, from
the present staff of 75.
