 Grace
InfoTech, the first computer education company
based in Pune, with plans to set up a national network
of franchisees, inaugurated its first computer-training
centre at Pune. Grace InfoTech has big plans ahead.
It is opening six more centres in the city, out
of which three will be opened within a month's time.
"Grace InfoTech's roll-out plan is to
have 35 centres all over India in the first year
of operations", revealed Harold D'Costa,
CEO. "We plan to have 500 centres
all over the country, within the next seven years",
added Girish Jesswani, Director.
The projected turnover of Grace InfoTech is expected
to be in the range of Rs 7 to 8 crores in the
first year, Rs 25 to 30 crores in the second year
and Rs 100 crores in the third year.
Grace Info tech is into professional training, and
will be offering courses ranging from the elementary
to the more advanced levels. This would include
courses in internet applications to modular courses
in Oracle 8i, Java, C, C++, Visual Basic, VB Script,
ASP, CGI, Perl, Corba, Linux, SQL Server, My SQL,
Java Beans, etc. The company also has its own software
division, which will ensure incorporation of new
technology as and when it happens. The Company's
R & D team will identify the need for upgradation,
besides researching and compiling problem solving
techniques.Grace Infotech will provide their students
with practical training on live projects. This would
help students gain experience in developing software
and provide them with the necessary exposure required
to groom them into professionals. Their placement
division will tap the software companies that require
high-grade professional talent. In fact, Grace Infotech
will also put their students through mock interviews
and tests to prepare them for a successful career,
once they complete their courses.
The selection of staff is being done with utmost
care. The entire faculty at every franchisee will
be screened, trained and then inducted into Grace
Infotech, in order to maintain excellent standards
of imparting computer education to their students.
