Taking care of your digital diary or calculator
Poonabest spoke to Mr. Ashok Deshpande who assembles
/ manufactures calculators and digital diaries
of "Adical" brand. Here is what he has
to advise us :
HOW TO TAKE PROPER CARE FOR YOUR DIGITAL DIARY
OR CALCULATOR ?
Do not buy a cheap quality set with fake foreign
brand name, just because you can save some money.
Do not expose the set to humidity, moisture and
heat.
Do not operate keys with moist or oily fingers.
Ensure that your fingers are clean and dry.
Do not keep the set open or on when not in use.
Always shut off the set after use.
Do replace the batteries every 18 months, irrespective
of its use, or as soon as you find a faint display.
Batteries have a limited shelf life. They may
leak and damage the set.
Do demand an Official Cash Memo/bill while buying
a set, clearly indicating the model number, serial
number, make etc. This would enable your right
for warranty, and also comes handy when proving
your ownership.
