Shake, Rattle and SCREAM
Pune is flooring off to Scream - the Club
for party animals

you ask a couple zooming on a bike late on a chilly
Saturday night, chances are they are going to
SCREAM.
Yeah, Scream-The Club, is the latest destination
of the party animals in Pune.Spread over 5000
sq ft in hotel Le Meridien, Scream is the city's
largest club.
As you enter the club hallway, hostess Benny
greets you at the reception. You of course you
can't miss the bouncer boys Birju and Rahul, always
ready to serve you better. Satyen is the key person
making sure things are running smooth. Says Satyen,
"We have made all arrangements for everybody
to have fun in the best possible way."
 The
club interiors, designed by Mumbai based designer
and architect Pinakin Patel, has an ambience of
almost a spaceship. With subtle red and green
lights diffused in space surrounded by magenta
walls, you can almost touch the green lights beaming
down onto the tables. And then you have the bar
stuffed with cocktails and mocktails.
And if you're wondering what's got into shaking
your legs, right-on, you find yourself on the
dancing floor. With a comfortable dancing floor
space for more than 80 people, you've entered
the realm of maximum motion and music.
 Then
there's DJ Kiran, Mumbai's first runner up at
DMC World DJ mixing championship last year, blasting
his vinyls, Denon turntables, pro CD players.
All on four channel DJ mixer. Groovy is the music
on JBL surround speakers, keeping you on your
toes. And sure to catch your imagination are the
light beams on floor from the British company
Mad lighting.
 In
case you just want to enjoy the fun passively,
slump onto the extra relaxing chairs. You can
enjoy a movie from a 18-inch screen cable TV,
DVDs.
The club is open on all days except Mondays.
The entry fee for couples is Rs 400 on Wednesdays
and Saturdays and Rs 200 on other days.
So all ya' Pune party animals, here's a place
to rock you late into the night. And if you are
lucky, it will keep you moving right through the
night. Let your hair down, take a deep breath
and SCREAM.....
