Mrinmai Kokalkar
A fun loving, sensitive and talkative gal who
believes in ethics and principals.
At 19, Mrinmai has been featured in almost all
the leading glamour magazines.
Mischievous, fun loving, talkative and humorous,
Mrinmai intends to pursue a career in modeling
along with theatre. She is currently under going
professional grooming sessions with some of the
best names in the city modelling circuit. "I
love to face the camera" she drawls, confident
of being able to make it in the highly competitive
world of modeling. Prasad Hiranwar had a tête-à-tête
with this vivacious lass.
How did you get into modelling? Did you
always want to be a model?
I had never given modelling a serious
thought. I got drawn to it for the fun of it,
but I soon started enjoying myself and decided
to get serious.
Could you tell us about your achievements
in this glamourous field?
I was declared 'Miss Beautiful Hair' at
the Boat Club May Queen 2000. I have been featured
on the cover page of a few city based glamour
magazines and have shot extensively for conceptual
fashion features with some of the best photographers
in the city. I have also acted in a few professional
stage shows and ramp shows with choreographer
Mona Singh.
What
are your like and dislikes?
I like parting, facing the camera, shopping,
talking, and sleeping. I relish spicy & junk
food I love to holiday in Mahableshwar and Darjeeling
and finally, the colours Pink, White and Lavender
soothe me no end. I dislike getting up
early, drinking, smoking and liars.

is your Ideal?
Lara Dutta.
What is your motto?
My motto in life is to be a good human
being and to be successful in whatever I do.
What is success according to you?
Success to me is something that is achieved
by hard work, patience, determination and by a
belief in one’s self.
