Sandeep Soparkar
This smart-looking
model is also a ballroom dancer...
 Sandeep
is the first to represent India in the prestigious
International Male Model Contest 2000 that
was held at the Caribbean Island of Aruba
in October 2000.
He was selected as one of 26 other participants
from all over India for the Graviera 'Mr. India'
contest 1997-98. Having won the title of India's
very first 'Mr. Young Turk' in Chennai
in December 1998, he was awarded a trip to Europe
as the Indian launch model for 'Phoenix A4
 Shoes'
for their shows in Germany, France, Spain,
Switzerland and Italy.
Sandeep is a professional ballroom dancer
and an accomplished model, having trained
under the expert guidance of the former European
ballroom dancing champion, Ex-Miss Poland and
Director of the Cinderella School of Ballroom
Dancing, Ms. Ewa Maria Cherukuru, since 1993.
He is now her dance partner and performs for various
shows with  her.
He has assisted in the Dance Choreography for
Shyam Benegal's 'Zubeida'.
He is also a Trained Aerobics Instructor
working with India's leading fitness institute
- Talwalkars. His other accomplishments
include a solo aerobics dance demonstrations for
the famous Pune Festival in 1996,
training of former Miss India - Mini Menon during
her preparations for the Miss Asia Pacific title
and actor Kunal Singh of 'Dil Hi Dil Main'.
 He
is a much sought after celebrity in Pune. He is
called to judge beauty pageants and to design,
choreograph and conceptualise for fashion shows.
Well, he is busy.
