Mr. Chordia started the business in 1961
in Pune on a very small scale and gradually rose

pickles. With factories located at prime industrial
locations like Shirval, Satara & Yavat in
Maharashtra and even Kanchipooram in Chennai,
Pravin Masale is slowly but steadily making
its presence felt not just in the State but nationally
too.
Mr. Pradeep Chordia is a hands-on leader,
a food technologist by profession, he believes in
innovations. It is on account of his progressive
attitude that the company was able to revolutionise
the pickle industry in India. From Pravin Masale
one can expect freshly ground spices, garden fresh
vegetables and fruits specially handpicked, processed
and blended in modern automatic plants and an assurance
of a clean and hygienic product, that has the original
flavour and crunchiness intact besides consistency
in quality.
The manufacturing unit, which has an ISO 9002
certification, is semi-automised and utmost
care is taken to keep it clean and hygienic. Pravin
Masale is also well known for its innovative
packaging like the Standy Pouch. The R&D division
makes sure only the best fruits and vegetables make
it to the grade. The company has its own transport
facility, which helps the company to get goods from
any part of the country in good condition. Lentils
and grams carefully selected are literally put through
the grind to get just the right taste, a distinctive
flavour that's become an addiction among millions
of consumers.
Pravin has a lot of firsts to its credit like the
ISO 9002 certified manufacturing plant; the introduction
of the standy pouch and soon to be launched is "Branded
Jaggery" with plans to export the product.
Pravin pickles can be preserved for months,
buts that's if they remain to be preserved.
