AMBIENCE & OUTDOORS

Ambrosia

Set amidst 42 acres of greenery, far from the madding crowd is Ambrosia, virtually the nectar of the gods. The ambience is to be experienced to be believed. The restaurant serves a variety of foods. One could even choose to spend an entire day here with enough activities like tennis, golf and swimming to keep you occupied.

Riverview

This is a large open-air restaurant with a fabulous view of the river. A variety of food is served here but a hot favourite is their coastal cuisine. For an entirely different eating experience, Riverview is a must.

Swiss Cheese Garden

India's first cheese restaurant, specialising in fondues, raclettes, roestis, etc. The restaurant is designed like a cottage with smart wooden interiors. If you have a fetish for fondues and do not particularly care for cheese, no sweat, they serve Indian and Chinese as well.

Garden Court

Half an hour's drive from the city is Garden Court, a large restaurant, nestled inside a large open area with the hills providing the perfect backdrop. It is a popular weekend restaurant with a small pool for kids to splash around outdoors. The place can be booked for large parties and they also have facilities to hold conferences.

Abhiruchi

This is not just another eat and scoot place. You come to Abhiruchi with plans to spend the entire day amidst rustic surroundings and of course enjoy wholesome Maharashtrian food. Set amidst 42 acres, there are plenty of activities to keep you going for the day. Rides on camels and trains plus a bumpy one on a bullock cart. There are also hammocks to lounge on. After a satisfying meal seems just the place to head for. The Thali is priced at Rs 80/- for an adult and Rs 40/- per child.
