Gas fuse is the largest selling safety device in Australia and is extremely popular in the US. We are confident of similar results from the Indian market too."

Geoffrey FosterAccording to Geoffrey Foster, inventor of Gas fuse and Chairman & Managing Director, Premier Fosters Pty. Ltd.,  "India has a huge potential market for this product. Gas fuse India intends to be a serious player in the LPG safety device category in the Indian subcontinent."

The product is reasonably priced at Rs 1195/- MRP. The user - friendly device when connected to the gas cylinder can serves three purposes:

  • Tests gas systems for minor leaks.
  • Shuts the gas supply off in case of major leaks.
  • Indicates low levels of gas.

The company has already appointed super-stockists in the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. The company will also support and strengthen the distribution of Gas fuse through its own sales team. Institutional sales are going to significantly contribute to Gas Fuse's revenue in India. The company has drawn up an active plan to tap into hotels and restaurants, industrial canteens, factories using LPG fuel, hospitals, government and defense establishments.
