Sintered Products Ltd., popularly known as
MSP was incorporated on 6th May 1960. Since
then MSP has consistently maintained its position
as the leader in Powder Metal Technology in
India. They have a significant presence in
International Market. A Q S-9000 Quality System
certified company having two plants totaling
13,500 square meters under roof, offers self-lubricating
bearings and powder metal parts in a wide
range of ferrous compositions with alloying
elements like carbon, copper, nickel, molybdenum,
etc., and non-ferrous compositions with copper,
tin also producing Copper and tin Powder.
It also offers custom designed sintered bronze
filters for a variety of filtration applications.
Designs and manufactures all tools required
in a sophisticated in-house tool room, and
has a Government recognised in house R &
D laboratory. MSP offers a custom designed
valve train components under a Technical Co-operation
agreement with Nippon Piston Ring Company
Ltd., Japan (NPR).
The facilities at MSP:
Press Shop: Hydraulic and
Fast action Mechanical type presses ranging
from 3 to 650 Tons pressing capacity are in
use depending on the configuration and density
of the parts to be pressed.
 Sintering
and After Treatment: State of the art
sophisticated and energy efficient mesh-belt
sintering furnaces with endothermic sintering
atmospheres are used to sinter parts up to
1150 Degrees C. For sintering high alloy steel
materials used in Valve train components.
Pusher sintering furnace with temperature
capability upto 1200 Degrees C is used. Atmosphere
options of dissociated Ammonia and Cryogenic
Nitrogen are available. Continuous steam treatment
and hardening furnaces are used for parts
needing steam treatment or Heat treatment.
Heat treatment options of case- carburising
and carbo-nitriding are performed where specified
by the customer.
 The
company also has fully equipped Computer Aided
Design State-of- the art in house Tool room.
Developments of new products are done here
based on customer enquiries. Cross-functional
teams study the customer requirement in depth
and prepare Advance Product Quality Plan (APQP).
Which is followed by the sample Tool design
and manufacture of Product Part Approval process
(PPAP).
