Operation
'Hope Gujarat'
In a sincere effort to gather much-needed funds
for the earthquake affected village of Gandhidham
and its surrounding villages, a set of concerned
and willing youngsters have collaborated and extended
a helping hand towards Operation 'Hope Gujarat'.
On Wednesday, February 7, 2001, a unique,
cultural, charity show, aptly called "In
Tune with Existence" is being organised
with the objectives to create awareness, get volunteers
and raise funds for the reconstruction and rehabilitation
of Gandhidham and its people. The show will be held
at the Nehru Memorial Hall from 8:00 p.m.
onwards.
The various individuals who have contributed towards
the cause include Sameera Singh, Ritesh Menon and
Dr. George Judah - official comperes, Shefali Lahoti
- Fusion 2001- By the artists of Shefali Lahoti's
cultural academy, Geetanjali Rai, Gazal Geetanjali,
Ashish Bhuyan's Extremes Worldwide - Theatre, Rocky
Vaz - Jazz, Karma - rock band, Sandeep Soparkar
- Dance Performance and Sunaina Paradkar - Indian
Classical Dance.
Tickets are priced at Rs. 100, Rs. 200, Rs. 300
and Rs. 400.
