Young,
handsome and debonair, Amish Jaitha has made a
name for himself in the world of golf. He has
won an international tourney in the Hong Kong
Open and has been part of the Indian team on various
occasions. He also topped the Indian Golf Union's
rankings. The Blue Diamond Amateur's Open was
his last tournament as an amateur. Having been
in the field since the age of nine, Amish is looking
forward to bigger challenges. And sure, for people
like Amish, definitely the sky is the limit!
Hrishikesh Kanitkar
A left-handed lower order batsman, he has
some good scores to his credit. With a cool
head and the ability to hit the ball out of
the ground, he is an ideal man to come to
when you need to score quick runs, especially
in the dying overs. He has proved this by
scoring the winning runs against Pakistan
in the 1998 Bangladesh Independence cup
final. His bowling is good and he should
be considered for a permanent spot on our
team. With a lot of dedication and hard work,
he is a permanent member of the Maharashtra
Ranji team.
