PLAZA |
Gera Plaza is situated far from the maddening crowd.
Located in a predominantly residential area on the
exclusive Boat Club road, this 2 storied mall houses
an eclectic mix of shops, offices, cafes and even
a pub.
Located on the ground floor, is the supermarket
Foodworld, where you can shop for virtually all
your groceries. Guys looking for readymades or mothers
shopping for their kids have to just step into the
Mafatlal showroom to satisy their needs. Underlines
stocks the entire lingerie range from Underlines.
Scarlet, an art gallery exhibits readymade western
wear. There is a Cafeteria to drive away your hunger
pangs. Up a flight of wooden stairs and you have
Sixth Sense, a boutique that has on display designer
salwar kameezes and western wear. Right next door
is Chapter & Verse an unique book-shop where you
can browse around for hours. There are shops selling
shoes, handicrafts, crockery, silver, gift articles
and leather goods One can also spot a Photo Express.
For net surfers there are two cybercafes. Not to
forget, a travel agency. Exhausted? Just one more
flight to go for a chilling finale. On the top floor
is TEN Downing Street (TDS), the most happening

Let not the drab exteriors of this monstrosity put
you off. Venture indoors and you will know just
why this building is named 'Wonderland'. The basement
and ground floor of this predominantly residential
structure is choc-o-block with shops on either side
of a broad passage. At Wonderland, one can find
everything from a pin to a panda (the stuffed variety
of course). Located here is Poona Saree Centre,
well known for stocking traditional  Pune
sarees. Infinity - the boutique for trendy western
wear, Manshow stocks garments exclusively for men,
Maharaja Jewellers who are there to make Maharanis
of their customers with a tantalising range of clips,
bindis and cosmetics; Madonna, whose customers are
known to make a song and dance of their stock of
children's clothes and a whole lot of other shops
catering to the diverse needs of the shopper. So
if you are an impulsive, compulsive or even a discerning
shopper, you cannot afford to give Wonderland the
miss.

This highly impressive shopping mall, covering 40,000
square feet is the first of its kind in the city.
The mall has two floors besides the basement and
the ground floor, each demarcated to cater to different
sections. The plush interiors, granite flooring,
fountains, plants and air conditioning all go to
provide just the right environment for people to
shop and browse around in absolute bliss. The basement
is demarcated as an entertainment zone, with plans
afoot to have pool tables and video games. On the
cards, are plans to start a crèche to enable Moms
to shop around in relative peace. Lakme Beauty Salon,
is down here and has already started operations
offering the entire range of beauty and hair care
services. The ground floor has a well stocked supermarket.
Counters display the entire range of cosmetics of
reputed brands, a mind boggling variety of kitchen
ware and a snack counter for those interested in
grabbing a quick bite. The first and second floor
offers everything that one can hope to find in shopping
malls of truly international standards. Clothes,
sportswear, toys, music, books, furnishing, leather
goods, luggage - the works. All branded and truly
exclusive. Dev's Nirman also has a mini theatre
where two shows of a latest film - Hindi & English
- are screened daily. Movies are changed every week
and a board outside displays the name of the movie
to be screened. One can also call and book tickets
over the telephone. Weekends are reserved for kids
with screening of films specially catering to them.
